AWADHESH KUMAR NEMA: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India; M.Tech in Soil & Water Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, is an agricultural engineer, author, and public servant whose work bridges science, literature, and social reform. Served as Deputy Director Agriculture, Joint Director Agriculture (I/c), and Project Director (ATMA), Government of Madhya Pradesh, he pioneered models like Khet Talab, Groundwater Augmentation, and the holistic Panch-J Model (Jan, Jal, Jamin, Janwar, Jangal), widely replicated for rural water security. Post-retirement, he prepared the State Specific Action Plan for the Water Sector (MP) till 2050, appreciated by the Government of India. A rare technical poet, he authored Anmol Mitti Anmol Pani, Watershed Chalisa, and Bhoo-Jal Dohavali, the latter displayed in all villages of Madhya Pradesh by Jan Abhiyan Parishad.
